CALM + SOOTHE 

 Known for its naturally sweet flavour, Licorice can do wonders for a dysregulated nervous system, as well as help calm an irritated respiratory or gastro-intestinal tract.

The adrenal-like effects of Licorice have been appreciated for a long time and many studies have confirmed its beneficial actions, proving useful for maintaining a healthy adrenal response to stress.

In addition to its support of adrenal function, Licorice has strong antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory actions, making it useful in providing relief from irritation in the respiratory tract. Equally it has a soothing effect on inflamed mucous membranes in the stomach and intestines.
