Tea Blending Workshops.
Ever wondered what goes into creating the perfect cup of tea?
Forage and Bloom's tea blending workshops are a hands-on experience where you'll explore a dispensary of 12 herbs through taste and aroma, learn about their traditional herbal actions and flavour profiles, and discover how to combine them into balanced, delicious tea blends.
You'll learn a simple approach to herbal formulation, then decide what you'd like your own tea to focus on, whether that's relaxation, digestion, energy, everyday wellbeing, or simply creating a blend you love drinking.
You'll create and taste up to three sample blends, adjusting your formula as you go, before making your final 50g tea to take home.
Workshops are limited to just 10 guests, with plenty of time to learn, ask questions, and get creative.
Upcoming workshops:
Tauranga - Saturday 12 September 2026
Auckland - Sunday 18 October 2026
Guests: 10 / Time: 2.5 hours / Investment: $89 NZD per person
Meet Your Host.
Hi, I'm Hannah, a qualified naturopath, herbalist, and nutritionist with 17 years of experience in the natural health industry, and a background in hospitality.
In 2014, I created the Forage and Bloom tea range so that people could access the benefits of herbs in an easy, delicious, and convenient way. I've formulated my signature tea blends to enhance both flavour and function - because I believe that drinking quality tea every day is one great-tasting way to live well.
Over the years, I've enjoyed introducing people to the world of herbal tea through retailers, events, and tea tastings. I have loved hosting tastings and product training for my wholesale customers, and sharing the herbs, flavours, and stories behind each blend.
Since closing the wholesale and retail tea side of Forage and Bloom at the end of 2025, I've turned my focus to small group workshops where I can bring that experience into a more personal, hands-on setting and teach you the practical skills to create delicious and effective herbal teas at home.
I'd love to see you at a workshop soon!
