REGULATE + SOOTHE

As a member of the aster family, yarrow is closely related to both chrysanthemums and chamomile. The medicinal use of yarrow dates back to before 1000 BC where it was used as a 'heal-all' remedy due to its wide variety of herbal actions.

It is commonly known for its action as a haemostatic or normaliser of blood flow and circulation, making it useful for a variety of conditions from high blood pressure to bruises and wounds.

As an astringent it can be used in all conditions causing inflamed mucous membranes, such as colds and asthma.

Yarrow is also considered a menstrual regulator, being helpful in cases of both  dysmenorrhoea and amenorrhea.

Actions :

Astringent / Antimicrobial / Diaphoretic / Hypotensive / Antipyretic / Spasmolytic / Antispasmodic / Anti-inflammatory / Haemostatic / Diuretic / Antiseptic
